TUM Model EcoSystem Analyser – an Inter-Departmental Research Facility
TUMmesa is a major research infrastructure that consists of eight walk-in climate chambers designed for advanced ecosystem research using innovative methods of experimental ecology at the School of Life Sciences Weihenstephan. The overarching aim of the facility is to strengthen the Munich research area within integrative approaches in ecology. It was established in a former farm building transformed by TUM in the year 2015, among others by a spin-off company of the university. The building is located about 1.3 km from the Campus Weihenstephan.
